My husband bought these as a set in Italy. These are part of what was a very large collection of writing pens. Most were put on display or in storage. The Colosseum is an important early Delta design and is closely associated with the styling that later became synonymous with the Dolce Vita line.
The orange resin has the rich, luminous marbled appearance for which Delta is known, and the black caps and decorative metalwork give the set a substantial, highly collectible presentation.
Condition is very good overall with light signs of handling/storage consistent with age. Please review all photographs carefully for exact cosmetic condition. The fountain pen nib appears clean and well preserved.
A very attractive matched-number Delta limited-edition set and an excellent opportunity for a collector of vintage Italian writing instruments.
