The included Certificate states the plate was created by master sculptor and carver Andrea Kostner of Val Gardena in Trentino Alto Adige, Italy; that the original plate was hand carved in wood and used as a master to reproduce in polyresin, retaining the characteristics of the wooden master; and that each plate is hand painted by highly trained artisans. Produced in Tuscany, Italy, near Florence, where Carlo Collodi wrote \"Pinocchio\".
