Arizona Historic Route US 66 highway marker.
Up for sale today is this Dixie Highway historic route sign. Made to the exact standards as used along the historic path of this bygone highway. The sign incorporates a recreation of the bands with the "DH" monogram which were painted on utility poles, bridge abutments, and other places to mark the highway.
An original of these is most likely to be found in active service along the old route of the Dixie Highway. The various historical societies would appreciate them staying there, rather than becoming an unwitting souvenir of your trip. So here's your chance to get your hands on a fantastic display piece...without chancing legal trouble.
The sign is 15 by 20 inches, and weighs 7 lb. 10 oz..
