A short Pervicin history
An empty vial of pervitin. Small vial with paper label and cork stopper. Height 65 mm, Diameter 15 mm. On the label, the marking: Wehrmacht packung. Pervitin is the name of methamphetamine pills, a drug that was supposed to turn Hitler's soldiers into fearless warriors always ready to fight to conquer the world. Its use in the army of the Third Reich was tested by Fritz Hauschild and Otto Ranka from the Academy of Military Medicine in Berlin. The German army distributed the drug to the soldiers, because it was established that it could help in victory.
