ABOUT THE SHIP
The Karemma were a Gamma Quadrant species incorporated into the Dominion. Their vessels served principally as cargo carriers and merchant ships, carrying trade goods throughout Dominion space. Although the Karemma had their own commercial traditions, Dominion rule tightly controlled their movement and trading relationships.
A Karemma vessel appeared in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode “Starship Down.” Quark and Hanok, a Karemma representative, were aboard the U.S.S. Defiant when it was attacked by Jem\'Hadar forces during a mission connected to negotiations between the Federation and the Karemma.
The Karemma Starship has a distinctive vertically layered hull design with a prominent lower pod, giving it a silhouette unlike Federation, Cardassian, or Jem\'Hadar ships. This detailed display model is an excellent addition to any Star Trek, Deep Space Nine, Dominion, Gamma Quadrant, Eaglemoss, die-cast model, or science-fiction collection.
