notice the \"pointbutted\" shape, this is a early thinbutted axe.
Made in patinated senon flint.
There are 2 variant of these small well made axes, with flaked and polished slimsides.
This is the polished variant, it is the oldest!
They are found together with the thinbutted offeraxes type IIIa
in hord finds and \"Jaettestue\" graves.
Provenance is an old collection.
