I am offering for sale this FINE STRONG USER 2\" W. 13-13/4\" L. W. BUTCHER Tang Handled Gouge Inv#JK44I AM OFFERING FOR SALE THIS GREAT FIND.... 2\" Wide 13-3/4\" LW. Butcher gouge,Made in USA. This is a fine
example of a W. Butchergouge with a fine wooden handle that is 6 L with a 7-1/4\" shaft tang blade. The wooden handle is substantial, tight and secure and has a marking from previous owner: TL96 inscribed on one side (see last photo). It has a nice finish and patina. It weighs 15 oz. It is in very nice condition, but does have typical pitting, one nick and rust but would clean up nicely. It is in \"as found\" condition right out of a carpenters workshop today..... I would suggest sharpening for optimal performance.Overall a great strong user W. Butcher gouge to add to your collection.“Photos are an integral part of this item\'s description.
