Fab Bright Orange Mimetite Crystals on Matrix- Pingtouling Mine, China For Sale

MIMETITE:Pingtouling Mine, Qingyuan Prefecture, Guangdong Province, China. Dimensions: 8.0 x 6.2 x 3.9cm, small cabinet.A brilliantly lustrous and colorful small cabinet specimen of bright yellow-orange Mimetite crystals to 1cm from finds at the Pingtouling Mine in 2003-2004. These scintillating, translucent Mimetites are abundantly distributed on a light orange-yellow Goethite matrix. The Mimetites are all perfect, prismatic hexagonal prisms and are in excellent condition. There are crystals all over the back of the piece as well and in contrast to the front, almost all of these are tapered, doubly terminated prisms and also have a greenish tint that is very unusual for this find and it suggests Pyromorphite, but I can\'t say without certainty. An excellent with crystals of good size and color from a now defunct locality. These specimens have not been seen in almost two decades. Buyer pays USPS Priority Mail shipping.
