Exquisite Charatan’s Make; dual-toned, dark & Chestnut the contrast sandblast highlights the natural valleys and ridges of the briar grain - Lane-era (1961–1976) sandblasts are revered due to the deep "two-step" craggy execution. All stamps on the flattened heal are well preserved over the ~60 years - You’ll agree, this make has been treated very respectfully. I’ve had this displayed for some time, and it is time someone smoked with it, more frequently than I have. The embossed CP is present on the stem, which is also virtually chatter free, along with the oxicidation being addressed from sitting on my display shelf. I’ve reamed the chamber, and cleaned the airways in the shank and stem with 99% alcohol - ready to smoke or continue cleaning to your satisfaction upon receipt. I am offering a quantity of my pipe collection, as I slowly try to reduce the collection on - I have been attempting to offer new additions weekly, if not daily.
