1994 Fleer Ultra Beavis and Butt-Head #9569 Tom Anderson – Professionally Graded 9.5Own a high-grade example of one of the most culturally significant supporting characters from Mike Judge’s early work. This is the 1994 Fleer Ultra Beavis and Butt-Head base card #9569 featuring Tom Anderson, the long-suffering neighbor of Beavis and Butt-Head. Graded a sharp 9.5, this card shows strong centering, clean surfaces, and excellent eye appeal for the set.Why this card stands out:Tom Anderson isn’t just another side character. Mike Judge created him first—same distinctive voice, same no-nonsense personality, same world-weary demeanor. When Judge later developed King of the Hill, Anderson served as the clear foundation for its central figure. The two characters share the same voice actor (Judge himself), nearly identical delivery, and a very similar visual design. Judge has even noted that he originally considered making the King of the Hill protagonist the son of Tom Anderson before rights issues prevented it.King of the Hill went on to become one of the most enduring and widely beloved animated series of its era, with a massive, multi-generational fanbase that continues to grow with the recent revival. As interest in Judge’s broader body of work rises, the original character who helped shape that iconic figure is drawing increased attention from collectors. This is a key character card from the popular 1994 Fleer Ultra Beavis and Butt-Head set (150-card base set with the distinctive “69” numbering and gold foil accents typical of the Ultra line). High-grade examples of the major character cards—especially this one—are seeing stronger demand as more people connect the dots between Judge’s two classic shows.Condition: Professionally graded 9.5. Card will ship securely in its graded holder with tracking and careful packaging.Whether you’re a Beavis and Butt-Head collector, a Mike Judge completist, or someone who appreciates the deeper roots of 1990s animation history, this is a strong piece to own.
