Fine Mariano Fortuny stenciled cotton panel from Venice, Italy, mid-20th century. Retains its decorative selvedge border (~3\" high × ~24\" long), a hallmark Fortuny finish. Classic Renaissance/Baroque scroll motif with metallic-ochre print on [insert ground color].

• Size: approx. 31.5\" (H) × 26\" (W)

• Two piece have been sewn together, clearly ages ago, the piece that is attached is 6.5\" and same width. Still is flawless. Great for mounting or an incredible pillow

• Border: printed decorative selvedge ~3\" × 24\" (original, not later trim)

• Condition: Very good vintage condition with light, even age toning; edges stable; no large tears or repairs. This seems to have been a piece from an originally larger piece but still has the border with is amazing to help verify its authenticity. Fortuny is very unique with creating their fabrics with a coordinate border and they still do to this day.

• Provenance: Private collection of historic decorator textiles.

• Age: Seems to be from the earlier Fortuny period 20\'s/30\'s
