The candlesticks in the French Louis XV Rococo style.
Provenance: Private Estate 575 Park Ave NYC and Rye New York.

The matching pair of candlesticks being silver plate over metal. We don't know the under metal, but on the worn areas of silver plate, you can see an almost buttery bronze colored metal of some sort. The candlesticks are very light so we are unsure what metal support is under the silver plate.
Condition: Wear to the silverplate. And then normal age appropriate wear. They sit nice and flat
One candle stick measures approximately a quarter inch taller than the other. This is probably just because of the foot and base.
