Begins: \"Gentlemen\". In full: \"You are hereby notified that I have authorized SMALL-JOSEPHY AGENCY, INC. to accept delivery of any/and all checks and/or sums of money which may from time to time be or become payable to me from you; and I hereby authorize you to deliver all such checks and/or sums of money to the said SMALL-JOSEPHY AGENCY, INC. This authorization shall remain in effect until written notice of the revocation thereof, executed and acknowledged by me, shall be served upon you by registered mail. I hereby agree to indemnify and save you free and harmless of and from any and all loss, cost or expenses which may be incurred or suffered by you by reason of any action taken by your reliance upon this authorization.\" In the year he signed this document, Stone appeared in one feature film, the epic Spartacus, and made guest appearances on numerous TV series: The Alaskans, Overland Trail, Tales of Wells Fargo, The Rifleman, Wanted: Dead or Alive, The Untouchables (two episodes), The Tall Man, Laramie, Rawhide, The Islanders, Stagecoach West, The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp and Hong Kong. Prolific stage, radio, screen and television actor Harold J. Stone (1913-2005), born Harold Jacob Hochstein, appeared in over 30 films from 1946 (The Blue Dahlia) to 1980 (Hardly Working), including The Harder They Fall (1956), The Wrong Man (1956), Spartacus (1960), The Chapman Report (1962), The Greatest Story Ever Told (1965), The St. Valentine\'s Day Massacre (1967, as Frank Nitti) and The Big Mouth (1967, directed by his friend, Jerry Lewis). Even more prolific on the small screen, Stone was best known for his roles in police dramas, including 77 Sunset Strip, Naked City, The Untouchables, Mannix, Mission: Impossible, The Rockford Files and Kojak. He was a regular on several TV series, including The Hartmans (1949), The Goldbergs (1952), The Walter Winchell File (1957-1958), The Grand Jury (1959), My World and Welcome to It (1969-1970) and Bridget Loves Bernie (1972), and appeared as a guest star over 150 times on series from The Man Behind the Badge (1954) to Highway to Heaven (1986). The third generation actor was the son of Yiddish actor Jacob Hochstein, with whom Stone made his stage debut at the age of six. Lightly creased with folds, light creases at the ascender of the \"J\" and at the \"n\" of Stone. Staple holes at upper left corner, file holes at upper and left margins. Left blank edge and upper right corner nicked. Overall, fine condition.
