This knife impresses with its unusual, unconventional contours, resembling an attacking mongoose, its back arched before the attack. The wide, 1.250” blade features high, flat bevels and is honed to a razor-sharp edge. The spine tapers smoothly to the tip, creating a strong, pentagonal point. At the base of the blade, a deep thumb groove provides a lighter grip. D2 alloy tool steel holds an edge perfectly. The handle features a \"broken\" shape, anatomically optimized for optimal handling, with sand-colored ribbed scales made of G10 plastic, a durable and wear-resistant material. The deep finger groove transitions into a well-developed support, worthy of even a fixed knife, reliably protecting the hand from contact with the blade. The pivot assembly is mounted on a bearing, and the \"Mongoose 2\" opens with a flick of the finger thanks to a flipper.
