Halys Gear as part of the issued SOF (Special Operations Forces) PCU (Protective Combat Uniform) cold weather clothing system. This jacket is level 7, the highest level in the PCU system. When used with the other levels of the PCU system, the level 7 jacket provides comfort up to negative 50 degrees Fahrenheit while in a static position.
The PCU system was specifically designed for US Special Operations Forces working in extremely cold climates.
