The real katana sword is battle ready, hand made by 1095 High Carbon steelin the ancientsword making method with a full length Tang greatly enhances the strength of the sword while swung.Full hand forged, hand polished and hand sharpened. The blade was well heat treating (Refining) and quenching(Tempering) greatly improve the hardness for real use. The blade has shaped in \"SHINOGUI-ZUKURI\" style. There are Bo Hi (blood groove) made on the balde. The sword is sharp enough for cutting pratice, very good choice for Dojo students and collection, gifts and display. It is durable enough for cutting tameshigiri and bamboo.

(1)The wooden sword stand in item pictures is NOT included. A random sword bag comes with the sword.
(2) This Katana can be taken apart fully anytime for maintenance purposes, you can disassemble the sword from the handle by taking out two pegs.
(3) Due to our swords are full hand made. So specs will vary slightly from sword to sword. please understand.
