Great piece of Maritime history
Vintage Home Lines commemorative medallion featuring detailed relief of the M.V. Atlantic (top) and S.S. Oceanic (bottom) under steam.
Reverse shows the classic Home Lines crown logo with “HOME LINES” and maker’s mark “BERTONI – MILANO.”
Produced in Italy by the prestigious Bertoni firm of Milan, circa early-to-mid 1980s (after the 1982 delivery of the Atlantic while Oceanic was still in the fleet).
Solid gold-toned metal with excellent detail and attractive finish. A scarce and desirable piece of ocean-liner / cruise-ship memorabilia from one of the great Italian lines of the postwar era.
