Hopi Early Morning Kachina Signed Kenny Lucas Carving Circa 1970's For Sale

Here we have an amazing Hopi Early Morning Kachina Signed Kenny Lucas circa 1970's. It is in very good condition. It measures approximately 14 1/2 inches tall. It is a beautiful carving. It is signed on the stand Kenny. Please look at all the pictures they are a very important part of the description.

Like Michelangelo and his famous statue of David, Kenny could see the kachina dolls in a block of cottonwood-tree root before he began carving it.  Kenny was from the Hopi village Old Oraibi, but when I knew him he lived in Kykotsmovi / New Oraibi in the early 1970's. Kenny passed away in the mid 1970's in his '50s way too young.
