3.5 INCH GAUGE LIVE STEAM TRAIN SET
A fantastic opportunity to acquire this vintage Hornby Stephenson’s Rocket live steam model, produced in 3½-inch gauge.
This is the substantial, highly collectible version of Stephenson’s Rocket, rather than a conventional electric Hornby train set.
The set comes in its original Hornby box with original polystyrene packaging, and includes the Rocket locomotive, tender, gas tank and accessories, together with the original track and instruction literature.

CONDITION
The locomotive and tender are in very good overall condition, with the model displaying extremely well for its age.
The original box is present but does show significant age-related wear, including scuffs, creasing, tears and damage to some of the corners/edges. Please study all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description.
The polystyrene packaging is also present.
The model has not been tested by me and is therefore being sold as untested. I have not attempted to fire or operate the live-steam mechanism.
The gas tank/accessories are included as shown in the photographs.
