Please take note of these few things. Ive had this lamp for a very long time. It originally had an optically clear round center section/table. But over the years, the sun, I guess oxidized the plastic, and it became brittle. And was cracking from each section of tube that went through it. I made no less than six different tables for it. And none of them ever looks right to me. The original one didn\'t look right to me. In fact, I\'m not really sure if that was the original one. The lamp belonged to my mother and as long as i can remember it had that acrylic. table slightly larger than the lamp\'s base, maybe 3 inches in diameter larger. It just never, it didn\'t look right for some reason. In the bottom, it seemed like could have used a little more weight with having a shelf that was bigger than itself. The bottom is also slightly damaged.

I\'ve never been able to find another one to buy o,r to look at the table that\'s on it. the one that\'s on it now is for whoever decides that they wish to own it. After me, it\'s more or less to keep the exact pattern of those 3 holes to make another table. If you wish, I mean, it\'s fine and I guess functional, although it\'s a very small table with 3 Poles going through it. i think the function followed the form on this one. Always a bad idea.So you know, yeah, if you don\'t have those 3 holes, perfect. As you know, as a template to make a new shelf. Table whatever, uh yo definitely take away from his esthetic value. It\'s that straight line that it leads to these bulbous eyeball. Type lamps that it needs the whole thing work for me. Anyways, the other thing is that I have never like I said, rewired, anything it seems like cause this was my mom\'s. It seems like my mom used to be able to hit the floor button three different times and she could make one lamp light, then 2 lamps, light, then all 3 light, and then it would be tapping again, it would go off. It doesn\'t do that now, and I don\'t really know why I don\'t know if somebody else rewire it, as I was growing up. And I just didn\'t notice, oh wait, so hopefully you\'re better at things like that than I am. Anyone who is lucky enough to purchase this, it will be sent to you taking apart for a couple different reasons. It\'ll be a lot cheaper. That\'s a good one, but it\'s not the most important one. If I tried to package it intact, the way it is, I\'m afraid that something might get bent, so it\'s really a simple concept. You you start from the bottom and you work your way up. And that keeps from keeps the wires from spinning first of all, but it also makes sure that you have the tight connection at the bottom, the middle, and then finally the top, it\'s really the least important, but the one that was gonna make it tight. It\'s really not hard.

The only reason I had it apart before is obviously to do the middle.
