The beautifully lit center dial is the focal point in a dim room, with a mirrored light effect that is mesmerizing. It’s a two band AM & Shortwave.
It must have been gone through electronically at one point because of this blue cable antenna that was added for better reception. It turns on, lights up, and was able to tune a loud and clear station. Did not fiddle much further.
The brown “swirl” Bakelite case is in excellent condition and has no chips, cracks, or repairs. The golden metal trim accents have no pitting, oxidation, and very minor discoloration.
