Check/invoice for a dinner hosted by Mr. Daniel Bacardi to the leaders of the Bacardi Syndicate paid from the Company\'s funds at The National City Bank of New York (Santiago de Cuba branch). January 8, 1951.In good conditions with marks and stains of use, time and store.100% authentic and original.A Bit of History...Daniel Facundo Francisco Bacardí Rosell (1911–1993) was a key member of the third generation of the family that owned the Compañía “Ron Bacardí” S.A. in Santiago de Cuba. Mr. Daniel Bacardí (as he was known) was a great-grandson of the founder (Don Facundo Bacardí Massó) and the son of Facundo Bacardí Lay.In 1951, at 40 years of age, he was already firmly settled in Santiago de Cuba alongside his own family. At that moment, Daniel Bacardí shared the leadership of the company and was responsible for internal supervision, institutional relations, and the preservation of the distillery\'s historical heritage in Santiago de Cuba. A few years later, he would consolidate his position by formally rising to the First Vice Presidency of both Compañía Ron Bacardí S.A. and Molinera Oriental S.A. (another major industrial enterprise owned by the family).Daniel Bacardí went down in the company\'s history due to two critical events that occurred years later: - Protection of the formula: Before the 1960 state intervention, he participated alongside the master rum makers in the strategy to safeguard the company\'s original yeast strain, sending it to laboratories outside of Cuba before the government could confiscate it.
- Transition to exile: In 1959 and early 1960, he was part of the delegations that attempted to officially mediate the island\'s trade policies before ultimately being forced to emigrate definitively to Brazil in 1962, later settling in Miami.
