Iowa Hawkeye Football Cheerleader Cabbage Patch Doll CHUCK LONG SIGNED Rose Bowl For Sale

This is a Les Patoufs (French version) of the original Cabbage Patch doll, originating around the mid-1980s. She is a University of Iowa Hawkeye football cheerleader version, with the black and gold pom poms and outfit (including shoes that say \"Iowa\").
The original owners of this doll took the doll to the University of Iowa football Rose Bowl in Pasadena in 1982 and stood in line to get Iowa quarterback Chuck Long\'s signature on the doll\'s stomach/upper torso. Chuck Long autographed the doll with his name and jersey number (16) in red ink.
This is definitely a one-of-a-kind treasure -- I have not been successful in finding any other similar dolls autographed by this player.
The doll itself is in nice pre-owned condition. Because it was a display doll, it does not have substantial marks frequently seen on pre-owned/used Cabbage Patch/Les Pataufs dolls. The only after-market mark I can see is the Chuck Long autograph. The original box is included, but it is in rough shape. Please see photos. Part of the cellophane/plastic front cover is included but it is no longer attached to the box. The original doll did come with paperwork (adoption papers, etc) but I no longer have these so I cannot include them.Please note that color details on your screen may differ from those shown here.
