A vintage Italian hand-carved wooden religious figurine depicting Saint Anthony of Padua. The standing figure is sculpted from a single block of wood, displaying a faceted, chisel-cut texture characteristic of traditional Alpine woodcarving workshops. He is depicted wearing a Franciscan friar's habit with a hooded cowl, a knotted rope belt, and a hanging rosary. He holds a book with red-tinted edges in his left hand and a lily stem with a single carved blossom in his right hand.The figurine stands on an integrated octagonal wooden base, which is fitted into a separate, slightly wider wooden plinth. The underside features a hollowed-out central rectangular cavity with a crisp, stamped ink mark reading "MADE IN ITALY".
