This is a hand signed personal letter by famous jazz musician, Jack Tegarden. it was sent to his wife, at the time, Addie Gault, before they married, Addie ended up being Mrs. Jack TEAGARDEN.
Letters by Jack are quite rare.
This group of four pages and their envelope are in amazing condition.
His name, Jack is signed by him on the return address, on the envelope.
“Jack”, is signed at the last page of the letter.
This is a very interesting letter I have had, since 1998.
I am enclosing a typed letter by me, and signed by me in 2006, explaining about the letter and my.friendship to Addie Gault Teagarden. Addie became Jack’s manager through his future entertaining life with Louis Armstrong, etc.
