Japanese Hichozan Fukagawa Arita Asian Figures & Tiger Large Bowl Circa 1870
Nice antique 19th century Japanese large porcelain bowl / basin. Decorated on the outside with hand painted flowers in orange and blue. Decorated on the inside with flowers surrounding scenes with Asian figures, a bird and flowers, and a tiger in red, orange, blue, green, white, yellow, and gold. Signed on the bottom Hichozan for Fukagawa. Circa 1870. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 17 3/8 inches wide x 6 1/8 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. FW
