Satsuma ware is known for its cream colored crackle glaze and polychrome enamel flowers outlined in gold. Between 1868-1912 Satsuma ware was a major export.
There are no chips or cracks.
The ceramic or pottery pieces may have defects from the mold, from the glaze, crazing and/or spots where glaze bubbles have popped. I do my best to note any specific defects. Please examine the pictures and send me any questions you have.
This item is from an estate and is in used condition. There is general wear on the item from it having been used.
