This vintage Karin and Erling Heerwagen teapot is in excellent used condition.
When we received it, it was dusty from prolonged display, but appeared to be unused. When we cleaned it off, it really shone through (dingy areas became bright white and extra dark areas showed various levels of brown, once cleaned).
This teapot shows no previous signs of use and had no chips, cracks or crazing.
It weighs in at a hefty 7 lbs 10 oz (~3.5 kg), and is an incredible ~12\" tall and ~15 1/2\" wide (at its widest point -- the base is just over 9\" in diameter, excluding the handle and spout).
This a beautiful and rare piece of functional art pottery.
