Small Axes like this were carried by many Eastern Longhunters and were popular from the French & Indian War period up through the early 19th century. Our hand forged head, with its typical flat hammer poll and oblong eye, is 4-1/2" long with a 2" blade, making it a handy camp tool as well as a formidable weapon.
Handles will need to be fitted to the head by the consumer. You get one handle. Picture is showing handle before and after installed in head.
