Kindaichi Case Files Manga Vol 1-11, Lot of 11 English Tokyopop 1st Printing OOPThe Kindaichi Case Files follows Hajime Kindaichi, a high school student and the supposed grandson of the famous (fictional) private detective Kosuke Kindaichi. Each story centers on a murder case that Hajime works through clue by clue until he names the killer. This lot contains English volumes 1 through 11 (continuous) from Tokyopop, beginning with The Opera House Murders and ending with volumes 10 and 11, which are parts 1 and 2 of the same storyline, so the lot closes with a complete case.
The series is written by Yōzaburō Kanari or Seimaru Amagi (depending on series) and illustrated by Fumiya Satō. It started serialization in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in 1992 and is one of the earliest works in the mystery manga genre. In 1995 it won the 19th Kodansha Manga Award for shōnen. Only the first 17 volumes (the first series) were released in English by Tokyopop.
Books are in Very Good collectible condition with very little wear and text blocks are toned. Otherwise, covers and pages are square, clean, bright, and unmarked. Bindings are tight.
