This bowl has a matte outer surface and an inner glossysurface, with a delicate white floral decoration (different front and back) appliedwith a fine brush in a Pâte-sur-Pâte traditional method by painting the design using liquid porcelain (slip).
Every detail, amazingly, is as new looking as the day itwas made. Actually, every element of the bowl and its decoration is as perfectand dramatic as it was when made 66 years ago.
The bowl weighs a few ounces over one pound and itmeasures about 5 3/8 x 7 3/8 inches (13.50 x 18.75 cm) and stands 4 1/4 inchestall (10.75 cm).
