An impressive large celestine specimen from the Muculufa Mine, Butera, Caltanissetta, Sicily, Italy.The elongated display surface is almost entirely covered by a dense crystallization of the characteristic blue-gray celestine for which this locality is well known. Numerous bladed crystals are arranged in overlapping and partially radial aggregates, producing a rich three-dimensional surface with excellent coverage and strong visual impact.Its substantial size—approximately 32 cm (12.6 in) long—makes it a particularly imposing display specimen.
