We offer this original legal 1825 document, a request for a meeting of the Suffolk County, Boston, Bar. Addressed to William A, Gardiner, Secretary of the Suffolk Bar, Court Street (Boston). Signed by seven members some noteable; Peter Oxenbridge Thacher was a Boston Judge. Signed by J. C. Gray, Isaac P. Osgood, Alexander Bliss, J. Temple Winthrop, William A. Warner. Addendum dated May 24th 1825 is signed by William Sullivan, President of the Suffolk Bar. Hand written in ink (two different hands) on a folded watermarked laid paper full sheet measuring 16-3/4 x 9-3/4 inches. Used with light wear, creases from folding (darker on back).
