Lemax Collectors Club House Christmas Village 1st one in series w postman w box
This was exclusively for Lemax Collector Club Members in 1998. Evidently, when one joined the club, this was free with membership as shown in the included brochure.
The box the mailman is carrying says Lemax on the edge. Another nice detail is the sign over the window that says, “Meeting Room”.
I acquired this from the estate of an avid Lemax and Department 56 collector.
The only noted problems are the front sign that should hang from the porch came loose. I didn’t glue it as I thought the buyer might not want it there. The snow is not as bright as I would expect, but I think it is made that way.
The packaging is intact, but shelf worn. The original shipping box is pretty rough, but I thought the buyer might want it for the historical value. I will ship the house with the packaging shown inside a new well-packed box.
