Fully modeled standing nutcracker soldier in hand-painted hard-paste Limoges porcelain: deep red jacket with white chest detail and gold belt, glossy black trousers and flat-top hat, painted face with brows, rosy cheeks, and mustache detail. Figure mounted on a domed cobalt blue oval porcelain base — the hinged box element — with gold beaded brass fittings at the equator and a cast gold oak leaf and acorn clasp at the front, fully three-dimensional. Interior white porcelain, clean and smooth throughout. Mark inside base: Peint Main / Limoges France / La Gloriette, with the atelier\'s house-and-window device.
