Approximately 8x10 black-and-white MGM promotional/publicity photograph featuring Marlon Brando and Tarita in the 1962 film Mutiny on the Bounty.
The reverse carries a full purple typed publicity caption identifying Marlon Brando as Fletcher Christian and Tarita as Maimiti. The caption describes the image as “ROMANCE IN TAHITI” and notes that Maimiti accompanies Christian to Pitcairn Island following the mutiny aboard ship.
The reverse also identifies the film as a Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer presentation, an Arcola production produced by Aaron Rosenberg and directed by Lewis Milestone, with cast members including Marlon Brando, Trevor Howard, Richard Harris, Hugh Griffith and Tarita.
