Very good vintage condition. The binding is tight and solid. Pages are clean with light age-related toning. The blue cloth cover shows minor shelf wear and a few small marks. Gold spine lettering remains bright and readable. No obvious writing, torn pages, library markings, or missing pages were observed. Please review all photographs carefully for the exact condition.This would make an excellent addition to a Civil War, Confederate history, Louisiana history, Mississippi history, genealogy, DAR, or Southern history collection.The book came from the personal collection of a former Sheffield, Alabama mayor who was also a history teacher.
