Michael Aram polished aluminum Birch vase from the Bark & Branch line.
Cast as a section of birch trunk, the cylindrical body is covered edge to edge in bark texture, with horizontal lenticel slashes, peeling curls, and rough knotted patches raised off the surface. The rim is irregular and lobed, following the broken top of a cut limb, and the wall thickens and thins the way real bark does. The exterior is polished to a bright reflective silver that catches light across the high points while the recesses read dark, and the interior is left dark and unpolished for contrast. The base is finished with concentric turning rings.
Marks: impressed script signature, Michael Aram, on a recessed round disc set into the underside.
Measurements: approximately 12 inches tall and approximately 4 inches in diameter at the rim.

CONDITION
Pre-owned, very good condition. Faint surface scratches and light handling marks scattered over the polished body, visible at certain angles. Some darker toning and small spots settled into the textured recesses, including a faint warm cast along one side. The interior is dark as cast, with no residue or staining. No dents, no cracks, and the rim is intact. Please review all photos carefully, they are part of the description and show exact condition.
