Offered for sale is a striking mid-century decorative porcelain teapot by L.F. Fine Porcelain, produced as Republic of China (Taiwan) export ware during the post-war period.

Finished in a dramatic jet-black glaze with lavish hand-applied gold decoration, this piece features a Limoges-style neoclassical pastoral scene, ornate gilded flourishes, and an exaggerated sculptural gold handle reminiscent of ormolu mounts. These highly decorative teapots were created primarily for display, not functional tea service, and were popular in upscale interiors during the 1950s–1970s.
