Limited to only 200 produced and each individually numbered (number you receive will vary), this card is the first of Mike Zeck's Milestones cards and celebrates Secret Wars #8, specifically the first appearance of the black Spider-Man costume and the record-breaking sale of the original art through Heritage in 2022. Hand autographed by Zeck, the card is nm/mint condition and will be shipped with the utmost care. Both the front and reverse are shown in the scans.
The Milestones cards were produced as a SuperManila Comic Con exclusive in Manila, Philippines, in 2026. They were part of Mike Zeck's continuing tradition of celebrating his birthday and his annual appearance at the convention. 2026 marked his 77th birthday and his third consecutive birthday celebration at Super Manila (hence the card's number of 77).
About Mike Zeck:
Mike Zeck is a legendary American comic-book artist whose work has had a lasting influence on Marvel and DC Comics. Born in Greenville, Pennsylvania, in 1949, Zeck grew up in South Florida and studied art at the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota. His celebrated work includes Marvel's Secret Wars, where he designed Spider-Man's iconic black costume, as well as the classic Kraven's Last Hunt and Punisher limited series. He has also illustrated Captain America, Master of Kung Fu, Batman,G.I. Joe, and numerous other titles. His distinctive artwork has become some of the most recognizable imagery in comic-book history, and his Secret Wars and Spider-Man work remain particularly prized by collectors.
