Early First Model Danish Model 1867 Remington Saber Bayonet measuring 26.75\" OAL, 21.75\" Ricasso blade: \"GEBR. WEYERSBURG SOLINGEN\". Blade in very good condition showing some light age patina, light surface rust spotting on left side, the Guard is stamped, 43376 with the other side stamped, KAR.3859. Regimental Carbine or Cavalry Unit. The grips show shrinkage and loss. Excellent working press-stud, no scabbard.This German made saber bayonet was for the First Danish Rolling Block Rifle made by Remington. A nice piece. See photos.
