Rare and highly collectible Murano glass duck designed by Dino Martens for Vetreria Aureliano Toso. This documented model 2704 dates to 1948 and features the distinctive “A Mace” glass technique, with colorful internal decoration encased in clear glass.The duck retains its original export label. The design is documented in Marc Heiremans’ book Dino Martens: Muranese Glass Designer on page 187, which also provides the 1948 date. It is additionally documented in Marc Heiremans’ Vetreria Aureliano Toso Murano 1938–1968 on page 317.Condition:The tip of the tail previously broke off and was professionally ground, reshaped, and polished. The refinished area presents well but is disclosed for complete accuracy.
