These two lovely Native Alaskan baskets are in wonderful vintage condition. They are handmade of birch bark with natural lashings and decorative porcupine quills. A unique and authentic piece of Native American craftsmanship, these baskets are a tangible piece of history showcasing the rich heritage, skill and artistry of the indigenous people of Alaska. While not signed, it is believed that they were made in Ambler, Alaska. Age unknown - but were gifted to my mother in the 80s.
