Naria spurca verdensium Cowrie Shell
A beautiful and highly attractive example of Naria spurca verdensium (Melvill, 1888), highlighted by its rich caramel-brown dorsal coloration and excellent natural gloss.
The warm brown dorsum displays fine mottled patterning that transitions into lighter cream-toned sides. Particularly striking are the dark brown spotted and deeply pitted margins, creating a distinctive border around the shell and giving this small specimen tremendous visual character.
The underside provides a beautiful contrast, with a smooth cream-to-tan base, well-developed teeth, and narrow dark aperture.
