Nichiren The Buddhist Prophet by Masaharu Anesaki, Hardcover dark blue, ©️ 1916, First Edition, 160 pages, Cambridge, Harvard University Press, London: Humphrey Milford, Oxford University Press. The 1916 edition is becoming harder to locate each passing year. This copy once belonged to Professor Johannes Rahder of Holland: Dutch Orientalist and Professor of Japanese. The binding is still good, mild foxing first cover page, front & back, some natural browning throughout due it age, no torn, loose or missing pages, the text IS complete and readable. Page 103 and Pages 137 thru 143 have some vintage faint dark blue ✏️ like underling, certain terms / words circled. Which IMHO only adds intellectual character. The outside cover and corners may have scuffs and bends. Some mild mustiness throughout (which smells great, IF your a 📖 lover) Please see pictures and ask any additional questions.*ANY offer considered.
