Gorgeous, antique, Nippon serving bowl with hand-painted Art Nouveau poppies! The pink, green and yellowflowers are outlined in gold, and the gold rim is decorated with raised, moriage dots. It was made in Japan by Morimura Bros., the direct successor of Morimura Gumi and a forerunner to Noritake. Their green mark stamped on the bottom was in use from 1911, and the Nippon period spans 1891-1921, dating this bowl from 1911-1921.
