This lidded sugar bowl comes from the discontinued Noritake “Peking” 2229 fine china line, produced in Japan from 1972–1984. It features Noritake’s signature footed base, glossy glaze, platinum trim, and a striking black geometric band with starburst floral medallions. The lid includes the original matching finial — a detail that is increasingly hard to find.
An ideal replacement piece for completing a set or upgrading a damaged one. Display-worthy and functional.
