Up for offer is a specimen of the very rare FRENCH meteorite, Orgueil ! The Orgueil meteorite was witnessed to fall around 20:00 on 14 May 1864 near Orgueil, Midi-Pyrenees, France . Orgueil is a rare historic fall and is classified as a rare CI1 Carbonaceous Chondrite! This is genuine meteorite micro specimen of several tiny fragments, grains, & dust. The specimen is picture on a 1" diameter holder and will come with an ID card that serves as my personal Certificate of Authenticity. (The ruler is for scale and NOT included in the sale)
