***Up for sale is a beautiful mid-century oversized floor pitcher by Blenko. Designed by Winslow Anderson, it is a statement piece with its tall, tapering conical body, and vibrant Jonquil yellow color! Also, it offers a flat circular base, a long neck, a sharply sloped pouring spout, and a contrasting amber colored glass handle. It measures roughly 18”tall, and the base is roughly 6.25”. The mouth is roughly a little over 7” across.
***Condition. It is not in perfect condition, but it still looks great on display. I did my best to clean the inside, without a long handled soft brush. There are areas where you can see residue, scratches, and marks. Near the joint on the handle, there are cracks on both sides. The cracks are on the inside. Normal air bubbles can also be seen, as well! I did my best to photograph this in the sunlight, but it was still hard to see the flaws. If you are looking at it close range, then you can see the areas of wear. It is still a great and rare piece with its oversized appearance, color, and the iconic mid-century style!
