This court document orders the Sheriff of Green County (one James Hook, whose signature is on the back) to send a Jeremiah Serjeant before the County Court of Common Pleas in Waynesburgh by October 1st of that year. Sheriff Hook was to bring Jeremiah before the court as he owed one Jabez Bingham \"78 pounds in Pennsylvania currency\" from 1793.
